Question of the Day - Saturday, September 14th, 2024

No, but when my daughter was toddler she wanted pink trimmed in white in her room so Dad made it happen. Thankfully, as she got older she wanted a nice light gray with white trim, so Dad happily made that happen.

And, I bought a house one time that had a mauve master bedroom. I painted it the same day the keys were in my hand.

Seriously?

Two of the bedrooms were half pink and half purple. The previous owners had daughters who were into that. After much procrastination on my part before finally getting to work, one of those rooms is now orange, instead.

Not in my present home. The last home had some gawd-awful rooms- I named the colors Pepto-pink great room, egg yoke yellow dining room and diarrhea brown kitchen and butlers pantry. Oh, and about 9 layers of ugly wall paper throughout the place spanning the 1890s-1960’s.

The pepto- pink was covering DYI knockdown spackle texture to cover the wallpaper. Redneck reno for sure.
