All of the major pop artists, especially Taylor swift, harry styles and most of all, Justin bieber. Also opera is the absolute worst. All of it is so bad that it leaves me in actual physical pain, and this is coming from someone who can fall asleep to death metal so that's saying something
 
When I think of overrated musicians, in my head, they fit in 2 categories.

A. "This is lowest-common-denominator garbage designed to sell a brand, not to be musically decent."

B. "We peaked 15 years ago creatively and we just keep on cranking out mediocre stuff and cash the checks because people show up".

I like Taylor but she is overrated. The swifties are kind of crazy. I want to her concert and if was super fun but I’m not a swifty lol

I would say that probably Billie elish. She’s not that good and I feel like so many people love her.
 
I don't understand the rabid Taylor Swift fandom. Now, I love plenty of musicians who my snooty musical friends make fun of me for enjoying, and generally the whole concept of something depending on subjective tastes being "overrated" seems silly to me, but what on god's green earth is this woman's appeal? There's nothing really wrong with her, but every aspect of everything she encompasses is so aggressively mediocre that I feel like there's some dark magic to it. My current leading theory is that she provides hope: when fans see and listen to her, they're able to think, "You know, I'm not particularly talented, pretty, or interesting, either, but if Taylor Swift can be famous, maybe I can be, too!"
Kudos to her for her success, though. She hit on some winning matrix, that's for sure.
