Just as the title states I am a grower located in northeast Ohio that grows black blacksoldierflies and a few chickens.

I plan on selling them in time, but before I ramp up production, I want to be sure there is demand before I start doing it.

Is your intention to ship them to arrive alive or freeze dried? What is your shipping method/process? How are they raised?

It seems as though many chicken owners feed BSF as a treat -purchased from TSC or Amazon. I guess to be competitive in price, what would make your product stand out against the current market?

I plan on selling freeze-dried. I would ship with tracking etc, Mine are raised sustainably; for example, I give them food scraps instead of just feed.

And thank you for the kind of question Bawkbok.

If you have a website (not everyone is on FB), you may want to post the link in the sell/buy/trade forum on BYC if allowed, along with pricing information.
