Yeah that would be a good idea. We are in a valley away from the main road and we’re right beside a decently fast part of a river (with rapids). They usually stick around but there’s always that one time.

It’s been three days already so it’s getting less and less that she’ll show up.
I was briefly thinking of putting an air tag on Ricky’s foot, lol.
Lol, yeah we double, thriller checked the hole her was in last time. I took Ricky for a little dip in a little flooded swamp by our house and he loved it, after that he escorted me to our front door.

This is becoming an ordeal. Hopefully not dangerous for you. Is everything snowed or iced over? Hopefully she's getting something, whether dried grass or roots. Is it possible for her to make her way back to you?
She would have to do some flying a bit up stream and our side of the bank is mostly covered by branches and stuff. It’s been raining here for a while and it’s mostly melted the snow. Nothing here is really icy. The river is so fast that it never freezes.
We didn’t find any sign of her! She like a ghost goose.
Geese are pretty self sufficient so there's still hope. Maybe she's found a wild flock and off to greener pastures.
