I pet my girls' backs when they squat for me. And I thank them every time I collect an egg.

Ah, yes, I did blow out and keep that very first egg. I still have it, from Peck.

Peggy is my most recent squatter, but she only sequators when she's standing on me. She's been peckish with me the past couple of weeks, which I attribute to hormones, but she's enjoyed standing on me every chance she gets since she was about 8-10 weeks old. I figure that's a dominance test.

I feel a little like I'm getting even when I get her to squat. I got a short video of it yesterday I'm going to post in my journal (what the actual cluck?) this evening.
