questions on all things shipped eggs

Let rest for a day fat side up. If they are less than 10 days old then let them rest for two days. Put in incubator and turn them. No matter what they should be turned. If you have an auto turner then use it. If turning by hand then space out the times you turn them evenly. Before bed, when you wake up and mid day. It's a lot of work so an auto turner is easier.

How do you know how old the eggs are?

I am guessing they were under 10 days? I won them on a Wed I think it was? maybe it was Tue and they shipped Friday so guessing he started to collect them then. They arrived on Mon. I set them on Tue. I have an auto turner and a broody so just used those. LOL

I can see development in 2/4 shipped eggs in the incubator and 1 of mine that I set. the other 2 in the incubator are much darker so hard to see in there.

Tomorrow I am hoping I can check the ones under the broody when she is off the nest. She has 2 of hers and 4 shipped.
