I'm building an aviary for some wild duck species. I've done lots of research and will probably get some mandarins and ringed teal. Not sure about other duck species. I need ones that aren't too loud as I have neighbours right next door. Mainly dabbling ducks I'm looking at but may consider other options.

There aren't any "loud" wild ducks. At least not how anyone would define loud. My whistling ducks and wild geese were the only noisier birds I've had, but they sounded so cool and it wasn't annoying noise like a rooster crowing or dog barking. I get excited when my ducks make noise. I love the occasional quack or call. But they're few and far between. You'll get courtship calls in the spring, but they're really not loud at all. None of them would ever bother anyone. I leave my windows open all the time and I rarely hear any noises. Mallards quack more frequently but that's really it. I'd love to see some photos of your aviary!
