Yes, gypsum=calcium. Like I said, use the untreated drywall - the kind used for normal construction. We've used it for 12 years on the advice of a rabbit breeder friend and 4-H leader. It's nice because you can flip it over when it gets soiled, then throw it into the compost to add calcium to that. The tomatoes love it!
