If I can pick an egg to root for I'll take 97....Thanks so much everyone! The final batch of eggs is going to start hatching within the next 24 hours! All are from my own flock.
Set 12/12
Silkie eggs from my birds (2-3 are from my NN paint hen and the rest are all from my gold birchen hen) I labeled NN on the ones from that hen.

Im eager to see if any of these chicks that aren’t from the NN hatch out paint. If so, then I will know that they came from my little paint EE cockerel instead of the NN frizzle silkie that all the rest of the chicks appear to have come from.
Absolutely!! Star is yoursIf I can pick an egg to root for I'll take 97....![]()
Thank you, sorry if I missed it in your thread but if it's an Olive Egger egg, what mix is it?Absolutely!! Star is yours️

The chicks coming out of the olive eggs are from one hen that I have that is half recessive white silkied EE (blue egg gene), and half blue cuckoo marans. The cockerel that has sired all of the chicks from the olive eggs thus far has been a black frizzled silkie showgirl who carries recessive white. So the chicks have been super fun combinations and have a chance at being NN, frizzled, silkied or satin. Some have been recessive white, some black, and some black with reddish brown on the heads. All of them so far have sold! So I hope these three remaining OE eggs hatch so I can grow out a few. I’ll attach pics of the parents.Thank you, sorry if I missed it in your thread but if it's an Olive Egger egg, what mix is it?
Did eggnog end up hatching?A few eggs have hatched today so far! And all have been white/paint so I think that the white paint EE cockerel managed to cover my gold birchen silkie hen (most of the eggs hatching today have been hers.)
