They are 9 weeks though.

Oh yeah, I forgot how young they were! I would definitely give more heat to growing chickens!

I just bought a large piece of hard plastic- that looks like one of those clear cutting boards. (second hand) It is as big as me. I have put it in my coop to make the room smaller and keep these birds much warmer. We are going to have -9 degrees tonight. but they will do better now.

I went out there before bedtime it is so warm now.

I opened up a pop door. The chicks have not been out doors, but it is a covered run and then a sun room.

This is in the run, chick going in pop door.The area is just for day. Below is the sunroom. Full of junk. They seem to enjoy this.

it is cold, but compared to how cold it was, not bad.

She has feathered legs.
I think she is a Golden Maran. Her name is Creamcycle. But she doesn't look like that anymore. I can pick her up and she doesn't run. They are all pretty tame.
