Hello all my duck people!
I just want to take some time to introduce myself and my flock. I am located in Upstate NY near Syracuse. I am also a vet tech at a very large animal hospital/college. I am here if anyone has any questions. I have been raising ducks now for 3 years and I have rare endangered breeds that I am workingnin preserving. The breeds I raise and show are: Saxony, Silver Appleyard, Cayuga, Dutch Hookbill, Mandarin and Buff. If anyone would like to learn more about these beautiful breeds feel free to reach out to me here or check out my farm page.

Welcome! I have Dutch Hookbills too and absolutely adore them. You have some beautiful ducks!

Welcome! Beautiful birds❤️I also raise Dutch Hookbill and just paid for a pair of quality show from Holderread that should be shipped on 11/16. Waiting 2 years to get them… Here is one of my girls hatched this year.

Hello from another Vet Tech! :hugs Your birds are absolutely gorgeous! What led you to start showing? Do you have favorites among the breeds that you have currently?
I enjoy taking my birds out to public and letting people see my work and time I've put into the birds on preserving them and breeding them to the standard. My favorite breed so far are the Dutch hookbills, They are very quiet and calm compared to my other breeds.

Do you ship hatching eggs in the spring by any chance? I would love to add more Hookbills to my flock, but I'm all the way in Iowa.
