Recipe measurement help

I know I am overing thinking this but I’d just like a second opinion to make sure I have the measurements correct.

I am making something called cowboy candy- and have always purchased 3lbs of jalapeño like the recipe calls for- however this time I was given 5lbs. Please help me figure out the adjustments needed for the rest of the ingredients.

Here is the original recipe.
3lbs jalapeño
2 c apple cider vinegar
1tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp garlic
6 c sugar

5 lbs jalapeño
3 1/3 c apple cider vinegar
1 2/3 tsp red pepper flakes
8/10 tsp turmeric
1 2/3 tsp garlic
10 c sugar

For the 8/10 tsp, I'd do a heaping 3/4 tsp and call it good.
