I'm looking for a nice place to rehome a couple hens, locals farms that may want them. I enjoy having them and they are well taken care of but after having my second baby and returning to work I just don't have the time and energy to devote as much time to them as I would like. We are also having a terrible opossum problem, we have already trapped and released three. This is not an urgent matter nor am I desperate enough to let them go just anywhere. Only appropriate places will be considered. That said, any comments on places in need of some egg laying hens are much appreciated. Or if you have a comment on how to keep opossums away, that would be great too! Thank you!

Releasing trapped animals is not the way....
.....also probably illegal for several very good reasons.
I could on, but won't.
