repair chicken coop door

What is it you want to do? This door looks like it is the door that gets you access under the coop and not into the coop. Is this correct? Does this door go to the outside run or for free ranging? Give us a hint please.

Thanks that's a good question. This coop doesn't technically have a run. I'm not sure what you would call this design. The coop where the chickens nest and roost is above and the bottom portion is where their food and water is stored. they can also more freely poop down there and the doors are so we can easily access it to clean out the excessive poop and maintain the water and food supply.
I am looking to make this door work better. I am not sure If I should go get some 1x2x10 and some smaller screws to hold them together and redo the hardware cloth or if I should try some different material altogether and am looking for some ideas.

What is holding your HC on? From the video, it looks pretty good but I noticed you had barrel bolts holding it closed. Raccoons have no problem opening barrel bolts. Need something you can put a clevis in. How big is the area under the coop and how many chickens do you have?
