Rhoad Island Red. 15 weeks old, will be turning 4 months old on Sunday 24th.

I realized today that they're older than I thought, time sure flies. I thought Mars was a roo but when I realized how old he was...my last RIR roo had a way bigger comb/wattles at his age but that just might be a genetics thing. Thoughts?

First impression is a pullet, but yes a good profile pic would help.

And yes, comb/wattle size varies with individuals, but mature males definitely have larger than female.

Hopefully these are better, they are not a very patient bird when it comes to a photoshoot. I've been leaning towards female but it's always nice to have a second opinion

Yup. Pullet. The pale comb means she isn't near laying, but will likely start laying in early spring when the days start lengthening.
