Could this increasing colors be a sign of Roos??
Silkies from tractor supply around 4 months old.

Female silkies can wind up being as pretty as the males, so that's one thing that makes silkies even tougher to sex.

The partridge one I can see the comb and it looks straight, which can be typical for hatchery silkies. But see how that one's comb is more pronounced than the light one's? It's also got a start on some hackles (back of the neck feathers.)

I think they're both beautiful but I think that light one is going to be especially gorgeous, maybe a light partridge. It looks to have some buff in it.

They're a little too young to be for sure, but I'd guess the dark one is a cockerel, and the light one is a pullet.

I would post these again in a couple of weeks and then it maybe will be easier.
