Rooster and a pig

Please ignore my ignorance...but can a young rooster live with a baby potbelly pig? I am thinking of adding an addition to our growing "non-human" family, but since we aren’t' completely finished with the chicken coop, I'm wondering if there is a way to combine the two. Of course, Rodgers would have his own coop, and than the pig would have his own shelter. So basically, a shared yard...

IDK about a pig but I have a pair of silkies that live with my goaties. They even share the same shelter.

I would be very leery of putting a chicken in with any pig, because pigs can be kinda rough some times and they can hurt or kill a chicken. Even if they aren't malicious or anything like that, they still may try to play with the birds and would probably be a bit too rough for them.

Our first year of chicks grew up with a pig (not a potbelly though...a big, fat, delicious pig!)

But anyway...they lived in the same building, but had seperate "stalls". We didn't even have chicken-wire walls so the chickens were free to come & go in the pig's pen. They also hung out with him from time to time in his outdoor yard.

The pig was big and kinda clumsy, but the chickens were pretty good at getting out of his way when they needed to. Not sure if this is the norm or not though.

My friend has 2 potbelly pig's.She has some free range chickens that do roost with the pigs.I so been wanting another one I had one many years ago when I lived in the burb's and she was litter trained and everything.She just didnt like being alone and ate tile, wallpaper if we left for work.We rehomed her to a good farm up here where we live now.I wouldnt hesitate to house a potbelly with a few chicken's as long as they can roost.I wouldn't put silkie's or frizzle's since they cant fly very high for roosting. If thing's work out for Us may try to get another one this summer.

When we had pigs the banties were always in their pen. They would fly in especially at meal times The banties would perch on the side of their dish and eat right along with the pigs. I am talking about big pigs they were 300-400lbs when butchered. The banties also hang with the goats and sometimes hide their nests in the goat houses Never had a problem with either.
