Rooster floppy comb

I’m new to raising chicken and have a rooster that has a floppy comb. I googled it and it mainly just says it’s due to dehydration. However he has clean water and always drinks out of it. Could this just be how his comb is? He is about 27 weeks old.

I'd say that's just how his comb is. Do you have anymore pictures of it at different angles? This isn’t a single comb, but it looks like one of those combs that are like a cross of a single and some other kind. I had a hen (which hen combs are more floppy), and she had a very similar comb and it was flopping.

Usually a floppy comb is all genetics. Some combs are floppy, others are straight up like the generic rooster's would be. Your guy just has a floppy comb.

He can never stand still for side views but his comb just flops over

He looks healthy to me! Just has a funny “hairstyle.” My Ancona has an incredible floppy comb and it went from upright to flopped over around 27 weeks, same age as your boy.
