Rooster FREE - Gaston County NC

We have a rooster that needs a new home. He is not mean at all, in fact our older hens keep him running all day. Our hens are kept in a closed run and we have no desire to raise chicks, so he is really just another mouth to feed for us. We purchased him from TSC back in July so he’s about 6 months old. He is quite handsome with his white, black and grey feathers. He is just starting to crow but I’m not sure he actually knows he’s a rooster yet.

People can get roosters for free by the bucket load. The only way you would ever get money from a cockerel or rooster is if he was show quality or a pure breed that was highly sought after.
Try advertising him on your local CL or FB poultry groups as "new flock leader for free".

Ok. I updated the listing to be free. I’m not keen on CL or Marketplace unless there’s no other option. Wanted to try this route first where I know folks are legit.

The problem with posting here is it is a world wide site. I've had the best luck rehoming the males on CL and FB poultry groups (not Marketplace).
