I bought this Rooster in a group with 9 other chicks from someone that had silkies/showgirls. This is definitely not what I thought I was getting. I would say he's a bantam but I have no idea what he is. He is 4 to 5 months old and crowing. I posted multiple pics with different areas of blurriness because he always runs when the camera comes out.

Huh. Might be some kind of Sultan? Or maybe a Spitzhauben? Or Polish?? I’m not too familiar with crested breeds.

He looks very similar to mine. I thought he was a silkie egg that hatched until I realized he only had 4 toes. I'm pretty sure mine is a booted bantam. He is 1 year old now.

The white skin and color makes me think of a Salmon Favorelles mix of sorts? I am unsure but definitely not a purebred of any breed.

I looked it up and it does look like a Salmon Favorelle. I have no clue what the birds history is, what makes you say it's definitely not a purebred?

I don't know the birds history but there were definitely silkies there.

Salmon Faverolles/Silkie mix. He had traits from both breeds.
