Hello chicken enthusiasts,

At the moment we have problems with our 6 months old rooster. Whenever someone is entering the coop he attacks, at the moment its difficult to collect eggs or cleaning the coop. When I turn the back to him he tries to jump me in the back and its the same with everyone else. Any advices on how to deal with a very aggressive rooster?

As he appears to have already made a habit of attacking anyone, attack back and turn him into a nice family dish.
Mean cockerels/rooster are very tasty.

Thank you. I have not decided yet but maybe I should actually chop him and eat roast chicken...

Yes, in my view the best way to deal with the situation.

Just grab him from the roost at night and with an iron rod or similar apply a blow right behind his comb to leave him immediately unconcious and you can calmly proceed with chopping the head off.

No stress for the bird which leaves the meat more tender, and no stress for the person butchering.

Thank you, in the next days I will do it like this I think...

Haven't tried this myself, but I've seen some people succeed by carrying a spray bottle with vinegar in it and spraying the rooster every time he rushes/attacks. Doesn't hurt him, but chickens hate vinegar.
