It's possible I am off on the age... I bought them from tractor supply and assumed they were 1-2 weeks old.... they were tiny and I got them around Easter on April 15th so I've had them for 7 weeks and they had to be 1-2 weeks old that is where I got my estimate from.They look older than 8 weeks just based on their size and feathering and I can tell it's a hen because of her tail it's not tall and no well I don't know how to describe a rooster tail but you could look up rooster tails and hen tails comparison
