Morning
I received some chickens about a month ago and I'm new to having chickens so I am not too good on identifying breeds.
With that being said, does anyone know what breed my rooster might be?

If he's pure, I'd guess a columbian buff orpington.

He's very fluffy and wide-built, and that puff of a tail is very orpington-ish. The pale legs and short back support that.

Thank you. I am not sure if he's pure, I know his back isn't as short as the picture you posted.
He also doesn't have spurs? I don't know if that means anything.
I'll definitely get a better picture of him.

Yeah, the picture's of some breeder's show rooster. He's probably from a long line of line-breeding (inbreeding) specifically for the ideal rooster. I only meant it as an example picture. Sorry for the confusion.

As for the lack of spurs, that probably means that he's less than ten months old. Development differs widely, but no spurs generally equals pretty young.

He's a very pretty boy.

Thanks y'all!
I know his dad is something like the top(screenshot) picture but bigger.

He looks like a New Hampshire to me. He's not buff or red Colombian because he doesn't have black in his hackle or saddle feathers, as far as I can tell. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Looks like my rooster, Duke, he's a New Hampshire Red. Just your rooster is bigger. I had a Buff Orpington rooster, once, and he looked about that size. Maybe he is a Red Plymouth Rock.
