So basically my two roosters are fighting over females and the Papa rooster, Terry, chases off the smaller rooster, Ruffle (his legs are bright orange like the chips), every time he tries to breed with the hens. Any tips on what I should do? Ruffle has the two smaller hens that he hatched with but Terry chases Ruffle away from them too.🫤

Roosters interrupting and knocking other roosters off of hens when attempting to mate can result in laceration injuries to the hens. I'd suggest either getting rid of one of the roosters or separating the flocks.

I agree with Sourland, let one of the roosters go.

The more roosters you have, the more apt it is to go wrong. In a couple months, the young rooster just might be bigger and stronger than the old rooster, and the fight can be pretty wicked. Many posters post that it is a sad day when the flock leader looses or dies due to the fight.

So the question is, why are you wanting two roosters? Even though it is the roosters that are fighting, it causes a lot of stress and tension on the hens.

If that is your whole flock, you really don't need two roosters. If they are confined to that run most of the time, they chance of it getting worse is much higher.
