I noticed today where two of my green billed ducks have a shorter bill than the other green billed ones....they are the same size as my orange billed ones??? Just rambling about it....it'll all come out later. I am really glad I have big ducks to watch now, but could use some babies again!!!...lol. I can't wait to hatch some out!Yes they do get the belly? Not sure what the correct word for it is. I think it happens as they get older but I'm not sure. Lol its funny you say they remind you of pot belly pigs. I think that's a perfect discribtion. Hmm not sure about the neck thing I will have to look. Now that mines coloring in its easy to tell who's who lol. well hope you figure it out. I love throwback baby pics! They were sooooo cute! They are cute now too but babies are always cuter.

She did make her nest spot directly below my broody hen, who has since been moved. Maybe the chick chirps got her think
Oh shoot!!...don't feel horrible!!!...think nothing of it!!! I shouldn't of mentioned anything! Sorry for the bad luck on hatching eggs. I hope you get a good hatch next time! I just threw an incubator together using a mini fridge. I'm on day 7 on my first ever chicken eggs in it. I can't wait to hatch ducks eggs if I get it all ironed out and I can hatch eggs with it!I know what you mean. This is my 3rd attempt at hatching eggs. Every time I fire up my incubator something always happens that ends up killing the eggs. I really want more babies. OMG I'm sooooo sorry! I just assume since a lot of people here are females. I'm so sorry I feel horrible
