Rouen Duck thread

Thanks. Those two are Khaki Campbell's, still unsure of their gender. Only the Rouen has a drake feather so far. But with my luck I am sure theres more than 1 drake.

That's the only thing that has frustrated me about becoming a duck mom...waiting to figure out their gender. I'm so worried I won't have the right drake/duck ratio!

same thing for us. Its a 2 to 1 ratio right? The Rouen has tried mounting the other Rouens and a Peking. The Peking has also tried mounting the KC. So I hope our KC are both female along with 2 Peking & 2 of the Rouens.

It appears we have 2 hens & 1 drake. They are 3 months old and the drake has had his curly drake feather for about a month. Now I am a bit concerned about one of the hens and her bi-colored bill, half brown half kind of greenish. Can that still be a hen?
yes she very well could still be a hen
if she is quaking like the other one u suspect is a hen then dont worry about it
the duck at this age with no curly tail and if she sounds like the other one u suspect is a hen should be a hen some ducks are just weird and have odd bill colors for there gender

hi everyone! I was wondering if you could identify my little ducks. Well not little but around a month or older. At first, I was told they looked like Welsh Harlequin but I am now wondering if they are Rouens

definetly 100% not rouens

they are the snowy pattern if they were rouens they would have they grey wild type pattern or blue wild type or pastel wild type pattern but the blue and pastel are harder to come by and also do not look like what u have

u have welsh harlequins most likely from the snowey patterns

Sometimes its hard to tell which quack belongs to who. They usually all quack in unison :-(
