I found a roundworm on a turd this am while cleaning the run. I have liquid safeguard (liquid fenbenzadole the goat one- pic in below). But have read adding it to their water is not super effective as it settles to the bottom and it’s hard to know how much they got dosage wise. I don't have any syringes on hand and want to start the meds today as we are traveling next week so time is a little tight.
I’ve also read I can put a dose on bread? Could someone let me know if you know how much to give each hen if I mix it w yogurt or put it on bread? And do I do this once a day for 5 days then repeat in 10 days? First time w worms so would love any tips/advice. Thank you!!
