Aki's heart sank. He looked at Mari with sad eyes. "I love thier names." He smiled.

Mari smiled at her mate. "Thank you." She walked over to Gray, and laid down, curling her body around her pups. "You will soon." She said gently. Summer yapped and bounced around Aki's legs. Faolen laid next to his mother, watching Aki with curious eyes.

Aki strectched and padded out of the den. He looked around at the heart of stone pack.
West jogged up and stood in front of Aki. "Want to go hunt?" He asked, excited to have his friend back.
"Sure" Aki smiled, the hesitated and looked back into the den. "Mari?" He whispered "I'll be back." Then he and west started to pad out of camp

Mari looked up, staring after him. Summer also watched him go, her tiny tail wagging. "That was papa?" She yipped to her mother. Mari smiled. "Yes, that was papa." Summer sat down. "I like him." She declared. "He's okay." Faolen scowled. "He is a wonderful papa." Mari said gently, almost to herself. "You'll begin to like him." She said cuddling Tala.

Gray wattled out of the den. "I won't." He scowled. "I don't need a dad."
Tala looked at her brother. She shook her head and laid down. "Stupid." She muttered.

Aki and west raced through the trees, down the mountian. "So Aki....." west looked over at him "I heard you say something about your brothes," he watched Aki's face. "You have another one beside Yukon?"
"Yes." Aki stared ahead, watching the trees. "Nighta. Is my oldest brother." He growled alittle. "The two hate me, because I followed in our fathers foot step and became beta, or was choosen as beta, and our father cast them away," aki looked around "enough talk. Lets hunt." He crashed through a thicket, startling a flock of turkeys.

Mari smiled sadly. She nuzzled Tala and Summer, and gazed out of the den.

Nike jerked his head up. What was that weird scent? Hurrying out he scanned the den site, and the same strange scent reached his nose. Bristling his hackles, he followed the scent, out of camp, into the forest.
