Salmon Faverolle gender

Hello,
We’re new to Salmon Faverolle chicks!
We recently bought one from Tractor Supply (straight run).
Chances are we’ll get a roo.
But wanted to get your opinions.
Approximately 5 wks old

Watch their chest feathers. A male faverolles should come in black, and a females should be salmon.

chest feathers are coming in light and brown.

A male would have a comb with some color and the chest feathers would be coming in BLACK.

So, did you end up with all pullets or did you get your cockerel?

I am curious too. I have a Faverolle Rooster and bought some chicks hoping for a couple of pullets for him, but they aren't indisputably light. They don't look obviously black though either. Having trouble trying to tell, and I thought all my prior thread watching had prepared me for this. HAha. I feel like they don't have a lot of dark on their chests, which I don't have pics of at the moment, but their main wing feather is a bit dark. What do y'all think?
