Seagulls?

Noticed some eyeing up the yard stranglely the other day, flying low, then away...Do I have to worry about them getting my 2.5 mo chicks, or were they just eyeing up something else in the yard?

My chicks are about the same age as yours. I haven't let them free range yet and their run is covered by netting so I haven't had any trouble so far. However, I would NOT trust a seagull. They kill SO many seaduck ducklings here every Spring, so I wouldn't put it past them to snatch up a chick.
