I wouldn't consider that one a splash. That is typical girl coloring.

That's no good, right? So I guess I need some smoothies in the gang to fix this problem. Is it possible to re pair birds in the fall if I can find some smooth breasted whites? These two are so attached to each other....Does anyone know where I might look for a smooth breasted white? I had a lady about two hours south of me this past spring that had a few smooth whites but she never got back to me and I didn't want to keep calling and bothering her.

TWT is just something that goes with having the sebastopols. I don't think anyone is going to completely get it out of their flock.

You'll find that birds can get TWT during their second or third year after they molt.
