Has anybody ever bred one color Sebright to a different color Sebright? If so, we would love to see any pictures of what any different colors of Sebrights crossed make!! We are trying to decide what colors of Sebrights we should get to cross with our silver Sebright hen, just for fun, and to make pretty offspring, so we are just looking for some inspiration. Thanks!

Of recognized or unrecognized variety? There are only 2 recognized varieties: Silver Laced (Silver) and Gold Laced (Golden)

Crossing a silver hen with a golden roo will produce sex links. Gold females silver/yellowish males. Silver male x Gold female will only result in Silver females, yellow males and yellowish silver females.

I have pics of citron colored sebrights and lilac sebrights and buff sebrights cuz I’m guessing you already know what silver and gold looks like.

I would love to know how to create the Citron Lace color! 😍
you breed a silver and a golden sebright together.

But with a GL roo on SL hens, that will give sexlinks, the females will be pure Golden sebrights the males will be citron

With a SL roo on GL hens, they won't be sexlinks but the feamales will be all pure Silver Sebrights and the males should be citron.

I know this is an old thread, but thanks guys! I was planning on some Sebrights this spring, and now I know I need a gold rooster! (was going to get all silver for aesthetic reasons, but I love my birdies and don't want to get too attached to the boys if I'm just going to give them away)

out of curiosity, if I make a coop in woodworking class, how big would it need to be for 15 or 20 Bantams?( Sebright flock of 10 ish, and some silkies for Broody/ incubation purposes. will probably start with 10, but plan to expand.)
