Seeking a good avian vet in or near Los Angeles.

Hi, I am in the Eagle Rock area near Pasadena. Please recommend any good avian vets you've visited/know of in the area. I noticed none in the immediate LA area on the List of Avian vets post. The backyard chicken is an ever growing trend here in the city and I am sure there is a good avian vet out here somewhere. A lot of folks come to me for advice and I would like to have a good vet to refer people, as well as for myself. I went to one on Arroyo Pkwy in Pasadena who gave me some not so great feed advice already. Thankfully I knew better and discounted her as a "chicken" vet. I need someone who knows chickens and not just pet birds. These girls are special.

Just an update I did find an avian vet in Pasadena recently. I took my Cochin in for slipped tendons. She acted immediately, taped her up and is/was very helpful in treating her.
Her info is: Tiffany Margolian; Exotic Animal Care Center; (626) 405-1777. I've seen her 3-4 times now and she is great so far.

On a side note; I had an otherwise horrible experience at VCA A Breed Apart in Pasadena. The only avian vet they had there did not have a immediate resolution, advice or knowledge to help us. I will never return there.
