Help I was suppose to be giving a rooster away to his new home to a new flock on Wednesday but found today that he has coccidiosis! ): obviously I don’t want the other persons flock to be sick to either way I would tell them to quarantine but should I just tell them I want to treat him first then hope they still want him or what should I do? It was such a good home and I’m worried they won’t want him anymore):

Picture of him for attention...

Tell them you want to treat the rooster first. Just for your information, all chickens have coccidia in their guts. It's when it gets out of control is when there is a problem.
The protozoa can be seen on a microscopic slide. If there are a few protozoa seen on the slide, no problem. However if the slide is loaded with protozoa, that's when there's a problem and the bird needs to be treated with Corid.

Wish I had a microscope to look.. any tips on telling without? He starting acting like he didn’t feel good yesterday and today wants nothing to do with the rest of the chicks he just stands there with his head pulled in his shoulders with his tail down.... I did go ahead and put corrid in water of whole flock ....should I separate him?
