I did check into the laws.. and you don't need a license or anything until you have more then 3,100 birds then you need a few things before u can start selling..but I never plan on having more then 10-20 birdsCheck your local regulations. In CA, for example, even if you give or trade a single egg, you need to have an egg handler's license. In OR, you may not need an egg handler's license, but you do need to follow regulations on labeling your eggs. Each state is different.
I do believe that in all states you are required to wash your eggs if you sell them, but I haven't read the rules for all states.
Oh wow!! I think $2.00 is a great price for FRESH eggs!
