Selling chickens for profit

I have a batch of 44 chicks going right now. Started with 51/$120. They have gone through 200# of fermented chick starter and are 8 weeks old. Fermenting is a non issue. I back slop keeping only one bucket going. I add water and feed every night. I don't see the dropped and scattered feed when I ferment. By 8 weeks you can clearly identify the sex and guarantee pullets.

So how much would I make or do you make if I may ask

I have $120 in chicks. $65 in feed. $5 in shavings. Extra heat lamp $30 $220/44 chicks or $5/chick. Own the GQF brooder, Sweeter Heater, one heat lamp and stock tank but that was another $120. I haven't accounted for electricity or my time. Let's add $1/chick. Now it's$6 for an 8 week old chick. I also haven't figured any potential cockerels which looks like 1 in this batch. That 1 cockerel will add $0.14 to each pullet. Right now I have roughly $6.14 into each pullet. I have common DP breeds that can easily sell for $10-12 at this age in my market. If I hold on to them until they are closer to POL, 18-20 weeks, I can get $20-25 or about $1 increase for each additional week. But as previously stated, feed consumption skyrockets. I'll be going through close to a 50# bag every week moving forward. At what point is my profit highest?
My starting point was lower than normal as I bought for a Feb delivery from a hatchery. With shipping they were $2.72 or $1.38 cheaper than if I have sourced them locally.

At sell how much do you make a pullet? And is it worth it or too much work?

You will be lucky to even break even its def not worth it as a side hussle thats for sure around here im lucky to get $5 for a started pullet which cost of feed aint worth it so I eat them at 5 weeks now Im not raising to sell anymore. Your better off doing what everone else does.....buy the cheapest tsc chicks then flip them for more
