My Serama hens are sitting on 8 eggs (They're in the same nest sharing) 6 eggs look really good, we can see the chicks moving. They are scheduled to hatch in about a week and a half. The parents are in my avatar. They will be available for sale.

Hello :). Do you have any chicks left? I hatched 2 seramas from my set of serama parents and one of the 2 day old babies passed away unexpectedly this afternoon. I am worried the baby I have left will get lonely....I have no other chicks her age. I love my small flock like they are kids. If you have any left (am just looking for one for my current baby as a friend :)) I would love to hear fron you :). Thank you :).

We also only have 1 that made it so i'm not sure if we are selling it yet. We had our large hens get at the eggs under the broody and demolish them. Only left 2 and one didn't make it. I have 6 Serama eggs under my Silkie as of Saturday (4/13). This time they are secure.

Awww, thank you for keeping me posted; my broody silkie hatched my current serama pair and she is a great momma (when broody :)). If I put more serama eggs in the incubator and keep this chick content til they hatch do you think that would work? Or would it be too far apart time-wise/age-wise to put them together to grow up? I am sorry about your eggs that you lost. I am hoping that you have a great hatch with your current eggs :)

I had the same circumstances last summer, I was left with a 6 week old chick and ended up finding a 2 week old and two month old on Craigslist after searching for a week. They all adjusted well together, so I don’t think it would hurt to try and set some more eggs. FWIW.

I am feverishly searching :). I may set eggs but then I worry about hatching more roos. Thank you so much, the little chick is doing great so far but she does need some buddies :)
