what do you mean by putting plugs in the bator? Did you plug up the air holes?

Yes, there are usually 2 caps in the top of a styrofoam bator that are removed either 1 or both during hatch for air flow.

I have 1 egg left to hatch out of my staggered hatch. I have 20 chicks & 1 little Saxony who thinks she/he is a chick. The lone egg is a Black East Indie, so hopefully it will hatch & my Saxony will have a friend. It's not due til the 14th, so they will be a week apart.

Oh, and I just set 32 more assorted eggs last night, including 3 Pekin ducks.

Same here. Now I am afraid they will all be roos and i can't keep those.

aww they're adorable! i was looking through all of my pictures today and i can't believe how much they've grown! i'm on day 11 so hopefully i can bring them outside for short periods of time soon!
