Rooster ran into stuff and broke his beak. Clearly in pain since it is only able to lightly peck at food briefly. It tried to drink water by quickly dipping its head into the feeder, which also seems to be painful. The beak cannot does not close fully and the top "shell" looks detached from the flesh. There is some blood. The rooster was shaking his head for a while when it first got injured.
This is the rooster at the top of the pecking order. It is still able to shoo away other roosters for now. Still acting quite tough at the moment. Do I need to isolate this rooster? Anything I should be doing?
