Sexing Baby Barred Rocks

I took a chance on a straight run at Tractor Supply this year, and picked my little Barred Rocks. I was so confident when I picked them out… but now I’m second guessing myself. I’m certain one of the two is a girl, but what about this little friend?

I love roosters, and I don’t care either way. S/he’ll have a home regardless. But… I was supposed to only get pullets. I thought I could figure it out myself.

I can take better pics tomorrow if these aren’t good enough.

If I recall correctly, barred rock males have more prominent white spots on their heads. That being said, I do have a barred rock hen that had a white spot on her head as a chick. Probably best to wait a few more weeks just to be sure. Cute little one!
