Do you have fake eggs under her now?
She was two in February. No symptoms except she'd been broody, sitting in a nesting box, for several days. I looked her over, nothing obvious to me. She was eating fine.How old was she fuzzi? Any idea what she died of?
Take out the sides and leave the roof basically.
It's an apple tree that was oveshadowed by the whips from the tree that overhangs the run until I cut the tree back. It's doing quite well now.
I don't use fake eggs. If I wanted something like fake eggs I've hard boiled proper eggs and left them in the nest in the past.
What a wonderful yard and place for your chickens! They must love their roaming time!
If it was mine to alter, I wouldn’t take out the two sides where the rain comes from. Construction wise and shelter wise.
Do you know what kind of apples? 
I like to eat the eggs I boiled.
They do, although they would prefer no yard at all.
I think it's a cox apple tree although I'm not sure. There are at least three varieties growing at the field.
What do the girls think of your digging? Do they come over looking for grubs?Two and a half hours today. A dry and chilly afternoon.
Got the last holes dug out on this section of the fence. Only gate and two posts holes to dig on the other side of the field gate now. More rubbish cleared away. Too busy to take pictures.
Chickens were out on the extended run while I worked. I'm waiting for materials to be delivered for the fence, probably on the 22nd of this month. I'll have a few days to do some work in the run; getting the rest of the rubbish out, digging what will be my small growing plot, clearing the rubble and weeds out of the wire cage and transplanting some fruit bushes.
