It went quite well. Difficult to be sociable and keep the food coming.how did the meal go? did your eldest and partner like your cooking?
The book and the film of Ring Of Bright Water are good but very sad.I tried reading it, the ads kept taking over so I gave up.
For more otter/people stories check out Ring of Bright Water, and books by Philip Wayre. The latter don't require tissues.
yum yum! Parmigiana melanzane is one of my favourite foods, and really glad to hear it worked well for you; I don't do a very good job of making it (like caponata; always better than mine in a good Italian restaurant). And the rest of it sounds terrific too.It went quite well. Difficult to be sociable and keep the food coming.
I made this but with my own version of tomato sauce made from marinated and then baked cherry tomatoes, plus sundried tomatoes.

That came out really well.
This for next course.

I didn't get the timing quite right and the meat was a bit overcooked but the taste was good.
Blueberries and raspberries in organic lve yogurt with honey, vanilla essence and chopped walnuts. I was going to make cheesecake but we ate cheesecake at my eldests last night.
Quite a feast! It went quite well. Difficult to be sociable and keep the food coming.

I kept all the fairy eggs my girls have given me over the years. All off white. None exploded, all the fluids evaporated over time. One of the pullets has started laying - Sully I think - the tiniest weeniest egg I have ever seen, more a marble than an egg really, but what a colour! Deep mahogany.

Doing it all again at the weekend for me and two others. Different recipies but still quite a major cook.Quite a feast!
Well done.
Henry needs all the rest he can get, he's got his gaggle of gals to care forJ did the chickens yesterday. Everybody was calm today. Coop was cleaned. Judging by their appetite this afternoon they had enough food this morning.
Grey and damp without sight of the sun. We all got out for an hour and a half. Henry retired early as usual.

It seems that the group is pulling together more. Even Mow who is normally a bit distant is staying with the group more. Tull and Syliph stil fly around a lot and dive off to explore or take shelter under their favourite bush; the only bush in fact if one discounts the huge rosmary bush.
