These are my 5 week old chicklets, 4 silkies and an Easter egger my 3 year old picked out.
I know with silkies ya pretty much wait for an egg or a crow, but I love this little EE and am hoping she isn’t a he. Any guesses?

What a cutie!!! So tiny and frizzled! I’m surprised that it’s so much smaller than the silkies - are they the same age? Is it a bantam EE? I don’t see any traits that scream boy to me so I’d tenatively say pullet at the moment (but know it could definitely change)

I was told they were the same age! And he’s not supposed to be a bantam. He was a farm swap chick my toddler had to have and named him NoFlap Brown. But to make her (🤞🏼) look even smaller, my white silkie is WAY bigger than the other two sisters so though it’s early, I think he’s a Roo.

I would say you have a good chance of the chick being a “her”! If you want to post update pics on here every week, we can give our thoughts… I have some chicks about the same age who have much bigger combs (obvious boys) and some others with smaller combs like yours, but I hate to say they are definitely girls yet because they could be late blooming cockerels.
