Losing her hearing isn't great, but it's much better than the possible alternative. I've never had a deaf sheep, but I had a deaf dog who lived a perfectly good life.

I am just so happy Muffin is okay. TBH, I cried a bit when I thought you were close to losing each other.

I'm sure she will be getting some extra treats now!
 
I am sad to announce Muffin was put down today after she lost her ability to stand and was having frequent seizures. The vet thinks it could have been kidney failure or a tumor, but she didn't seem to be suffering which is a big relief for me. RIP Muffinator. She was 16 1/2 years old.

She is the last of my flock. It's the end of an era, but I will always have fond memories of keeping these special sheep.
