Should I try and kill this bobcat?

Seems like one might at times involve the other.
I guess most people just haven’t worked as hard as I have over the years for the things that they own.
If I’m asked nicely I will donate to a worthy cause but I have an extreme disdain for human or animal trying to take or destroy what is mine.

Then find a way to protect what is yours that doesn't involve using lethal force against the local wildlife. I did. For many years I lived in the Ozarks in Missouri which was essentially a predator heaven. Before that I lived in California in an area teeming with coyotes. I never lost a single bird or other animal to predators of any kind. My neighbors did but I didn't. Why? Because I had secure quarters for my critters. Also guard dogs. I am sorry for your losses though.

If this were true, the conservationists would not have had to reintroduce the black bear, bald eagle, gray wolf, & several species of owls in the US. I know there is more but that’s just a few.

When predators move in to replace those who've been killed conflicts increase. Injured and sick predators are forced to hunt easy prey (domestic pets and livestock such as rabbits and chickens)and risk being killed themselves or starving to death. Wildlife conservationists have made it against the law in many areas to relocate predators

You better not assume I'm a city DA.
I keep livestock (cattle) and we have big wolves that are getting out of control. However in my country - and probably the whole EU - it is illegal to kill wildlife, no matter what damage it does. Yet, we still keep livestock and have little to no losses. I even free range.
I guess when you're not allowed to solve every problem with guns, you grow more brain to find alternatives.

I guess when one is denied the quick, easy and effective solutions, one has to work out other options. Also consider that many states in the USA have more acreage of just wildlands than all of Europe's landmass in total and a larger and more varied predator load.
