I found these in my eggs this morning. We have hens and a rooster. I've never noticed before. Should I worry that these are worms? Eggs are 2 weeks old and stored in refrigerator. In the egg white there is a whitefish blob with a reddish brown dot in it, pulling the reddish brown dot away from sticky blob, there is a string (about inches long) coming from the reddish brown dot, resembling a worm, but does not move. Are these safe to eat?

No, that is not a worm. A worm would be white, and very firm in texture. Do a google search for internal parasites of chickens, and you will find plenty of pics! B/C BY eggs do not get candled with high power equipment, you are apt to find an occasional abnormality: blood spots, meat spots, and other tissue inclusions. (Commercial eggs would have such inclusions culled. The eggs that don't pass the grade for egg cartons are dehydrated and used for baking mixes.)
