I am working on a chicken landrace population, or maybe a planned barnyard mix? I'd like to see pictures of your mixed breeds. Please identify breeds, if you know them.

This young lady is a Bielefelder x Black Australorp, currently almost 8 weeks old.

Jersey Giant x RIR, gender unknown. Currently 3 weeks. The odd speckled appearance is tiny white feathers that stick out above the black. My RIR chicks had the same, mostly around the head and neck.

Hi! She is beautiful!

This is Darcy! He is a Light Sussex x French Cuckoo Maran cross. I'm starting a breeding project and hopefully in 4-5 years I will have created a new breed!

And this is the same type of mix as a chick! I'm going to name her Debbie if it's a hen!

This is my Easter Egger, Pueo! She hasn’t given me any eggs yet but I am hoping for a blue or green egg! My current blue egg layer is unreliable and her eggs are tiny when she ever does decide to lay.

I am always amazed at the color differences between male and female. Since there are sometimes females with male coloring, I wonder if someone could create a breed that has male coloring on both?
