Not an entry: dyeing brown eggs gives the most beautiful results (I dyed these raw last Easter and sold them at my egg stand with out saying anything)

Just regular bright Easter egg dye, but it makes a deeper color with brown and tan eggs.

There are blue and green eggs but they are on the bottom. I expected the egg count to go down today. Woke up this morning to temps in the 50’s, though it do over 70 this afternoon. Also some of my flock decided to make a run to get out of their new run and I had to chase them down with a net which I thought would cause them not to lay. To many hawk’s nest in our trees for free ranging.

2. An entry is *one* picture containing at least one intact egg.
3. Eggs from all domestic poultry allowed (chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, peafowl, guinea fowl, quail, pheasants, emus, pigeons, doves, etc.).
4. Images that have been resized might be disqualified if they are too small to judge.
5. No screenshots, watermarks, date stamps, text, etc., on the photo. No collages.
6. The photo needs to have been taken by you.
7. You cannot use a photo that won an award in another BYC-sponsored contest.
8. High-quality images are recommended. Basic editing, such as cropping and other subtle changes, are allowed.
9. ALL photos MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
10. Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
11. All BYC rules apply: Terms of Service (Rules)
12. Entries will be accepted through November 30th, 2024, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
