Fur and Feathers? I gather that's some sort of expo?

I'm much farther east than that. About an hour and a half west of Ottawa. But shipping eggs to each other should be easy enough!

They are various sized sales that happen over this way! The All Ontario Fur and Feather is one of the bigger ones if I’m not mistaken, same with the Lombardy sale! Basically a bunch of people coming together to sell birds from their tailgates/trailers. Quite a wide array of birds and many different people to meet!
I’ve only attended a few of them this past year but they are fun to go see what everyone has. Some are definitely a “be cautious what you’re buying” type of sale, but a lot of good people go to sell their birds and don’t want to ruin something they enjoy so they don’t bring sickly animals

I’m the worst at them if I bring spending money as well
I wish the Lombardy one wasn’t so far!! So many cool breeders go there … if I went to that one I’d definitely have to make sure I bring a full wallet

I need to get more photos of the little sdw looking pullet as she’s developing her comb and wattles now so more filled out and a bit bigger than the last photos!

That being said, these girls from the younger group are really neat to see the differences in them!
This one is closer to her mother with the stripe through the feathers and blue tones in her tail.. I just wish it would fill out nicer like her hatch mates..

This one has more of a ginger tone to her with stippling in her feathers! Wondering if she’s from the more pumpkin looking hen while the other pullet may be from the hen she looks like . It doesn’t matter to me in the long run, just a fun observation in their differences!

This boy is still my favourite and I love getting photos of him

Gorgeous birds!! I love the male in the second photo, a pale barring/crele (?) is beautiful to see!
Plus, I’m always a sucker for the sdw variety
