Are you asking if your SF is show quality? If so, get some pics from different angles in good light. Try for a neutral background, if possible.

how old? Source? Where are you located (general location ok, gives idea on weather and predator situation).

your SF has nice light coloring from what I can see. I had one SF from a hatchery that was very dark in salmon coloring. Now I have 2 SF from another source and both are lighter than our first SF, but one is lighter than the other.

do you have access to the APA standards? Do you plan to show your SF?

If you're asking if your Salmon Faverolle pullet is show quality, it is much to early to tell unless she has any obvious defects (ex. four toes instead of five). You'd need to wait until 6-8 months to decide that. If she came from a breeder that produces show quality stock that doesn't mean she'll be show quality herself, even if both parents have titles and ribbons. She is super cute though and makes me miss my Salmon Faverolles.

I did this post late at night which is when my brain doesn't work well. We bought all our chocks including the salmon favaroles for a Hatchery up north . They are only 6 weeks old so to early to tell . A local feed store owner told me if I got them from a Hatchery we won't win any contest (kids are going to die them for 4H). I asked the Hatchery and she rolled me she gets emails of awards winners from her Hatchery all the time. Also see my updated cool and run almost complete.

Here they are at 5 weeks. Notice the one that's mostly black.

So the black one is most probably a male. SF males look very different from females. The one leaning down is fairly dark - does it have black feathers too? If so, possible other male as girls don’t get black feathers, but the males do.

My kid does 4-h and has won Grand Champions before. Not sure if that would be the case at an APA sanctioned show. I’ll be taking the 4-H kid to the huge APA poultry show next weekend in Columbus, OH . Always good to see the big variety of poultry and learn about correct breed standards.

good luck - hope you have some nice SF!

Just the 1 with black feathers. The other 3 look very similar. It's amazing how much they change almost on a daily basis.
